Great Dane Nationals, Topeka Kansas, Oct. 2006

I had no plans of going to Topeka for the Nationals but decided at the last minute to go and see Steve and Shadow since I had not yet seen them together. What a blast I had, They did SUPER GREAT in Breed, they made every cut to the very end. I was so proud of both. I got to meet  a wonderful  couple  that flew in from Mexico and we spent alot of time together, what super people they are. Mara & Jose' Manuel Diaz of  D-Iriso  Kennels. They just feel in Love with Shadow . I also finally got to meet Leslie Deleon and what a hoot she is to be around. Edna got to come for several days and that was special to see her as always. I can't forget the pleasure I had to spend so much time with Brucie Mitchell and her husband Gene . What a treat to get to talk about past dogs.  Brucie's "Bullet" Sired Our Shadow. Oh Yea, Hope and Leon were alot of fun too, can't wait till next year to see all of them again.

Can't forget Steve, I really enjoyed the days I got to be around him, I can see how very much he loves our dog and that's vice versa, Shadow adores him. I feel much comfort knowing that Steves taking great care of him out on the road.
